Business transfer

Oy Langh Ship Ab’s (Business ID: 0136533-5) shipping operation will switch to tonnage tax as of 1 January 2015. To that end, the company will transfer, as of 1 January 2015, its entire shipping operation, including its assets and liabilities, to a wholly owned subsidiary, which will apply for entry into the tonnage tax scheme. The company’s container operations will remain with the parent company and under the normal corporate tax scheme.

The name of the subsidiary is presently Langh Group Oy Ab (Business ID: 2657600-8). As of 1 January 2015, the companies will change names such that the subsidiary’s new name will be Langh Ship Oy Ab and the parent company’s name will be Langh Group Oy Ab.

The entire shipping crew will transfer to the employ of the subsidiary, whose name will be Langh Ship Oy Ab, as existing employees, and no changes to employment contracts are required. The business transfer thus does not result in any changes for the employees.
